Our Bribery Act e-learning training supports anti-corruption culture
Universities need a strong anti-corruption culture and robust systems and procedures in order to defend prosecution under the Bribery Act, according to the Serious Fraud Office.
The Bribery Act 2010, which came into force April 2011, introduced strict liability for organisations whose agents or associates engage in bribery. It has placed the onus on organisations, including universities, to have full and effective anti-bribery measures in place.
After co-creating our original Bribery Act e-learning training with international legal practice SNR Denton UK LLP; we designed a higher education version in collaboration with the University of Bath – the first of its kind for colleges and universities.
